Nov. 13. The Colorado Women’s Chorale, under the hand of artistic director Jennifer Ferguson, sings all kinds of music but focuses on contemporary sounds, written with female ensembles in mind. It’s a specialty that makes the group stand apart from the other choral operations in the region. Next weekend, the chorale steps out a bit with “Celtic Dreams,” devoting a whole night to Celtic folk music, poetry and dancing at Augustana Lutheran Church. The multimedia night has a few unusual community partners on board — the Wick School of Irish Dance and the Cherry Creek High School-based choir that goes by Girls 21. Just one performance: 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13, Augustana Lutheran Church, 5000 E. Alameda Ave. $10-$25. 303-388-4962 or .
