Two officers were assaulted in Denver Thursday afternoon and one was taken to a local hospital with injuries.
The officer taken to the hospital was in stable condition, according to a police department spokeswoman told 7News.
The other officer had minor injuries from the incident in the Baker Neigborhood near West Alameda Avenue and South Santa Fe Drive.
