Great Clips is celebrating Veterans Day with a promo on Nov. 11 that gives all veterans, as well as active military members, a free haircut — no buzz-cut required. It’s even better because vets not in need of a haircut can stop by and pick up a free haircut card good through Dec. 31. (Haircut cards can only be redeemed by a veteran or active military.) You must present a proper military ID for either offer. Here’s a pearl of wisdom: If you love a great freebie (and things that sparkle), get to the grand opening of Fred Meyer Jewelers’ seventh Colorado location on Nov. 11. This one is located within the King Soopers at Cottonwood Marketplace (17761 Cottonwood Drive, Parker). The 1,300-square-foot store carries wedding rings, fine jewelry and brand-name watches. As if Little Caesars wasn’t a bargain already, they’re slicing $2 off the Deep!Deep! Dish pizza. Through Nov. 15, get the bargain pizza (large pepperoni only) for just $6 at participating locations. The specialty pizza is ready for pickup from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. However, you can order it anytime; you’ll just have to wait 15 minutes or so.
