A police chase that began in Denver ended in Wheat Ridge on Friday morning in a crash involving two police vehicles.
Two people were arrested following the pursuit of a stolen car that ended with a crash near West 29th Avenue and Fenton Street.
Denver police referred questions about the incident to Wheat Ridge police, and Wheat Ridge police referred questions to Denver.
A KMGH-Channel 7 news that a Denver police sport-utility vehicle was crushed along its side panel and had slashed tires. Another police vehicle went through a fence. Wheat Ridge police said none of their vehicles was damaged.
Wheat Ridge authorities said they were assisting Denver before the crash.
