The Aurora Police Department is investigating after a person was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene.
The victim received non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital, said Aurora police spokeswoman Diana Cooley.
The crash took place at Colfax Avenue and Dallas Street around 12:30 p.m., police said.
Police did not have a suspect vehicle description as of 1 p.m.
