Three or four armed men carjacked a man at knifepoint in Lakewood early Wednesday morning, according to police.

The victim, who has not been identified, received minor stab wounds during the incident 2:30 a.m. on the 5400 block of West 4th Avenue, said Steve Davis, Lakewood police spokesman.

The suspects, described as white men, have not been captured.

A gray Audi A4 was stolen during the armed robbery, Davis said. The license plate of the stolen car is 870ZWV.

The victim had just pulled into a parking spot when he was blocked in by a light-colored Honda.

One or more of the suspects brandished a knife.

The victim called 911.

Denver police tried to pull over a light-colored Honda at Knox and 4th Avenue a few minutes later and the car did not stop, Davis said.

“It took off,” he said.
