Denver police responded Tuesday evening to a shooting in northeast Denver.
The shooting happened in the 1700 block of East 37th Avenue and a victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, according to an 8:02 p.m. Denver Police Department Twitter post.
Police did not immediately release information on a suspect in the shooting or a possible motive in the incident.
