Opens Friday. Denver residents may remember the DaVinci Machines Exhibit, which took over the former Virgin Megastore along the 16th Street Mall three years ago. Its success inspired creator Mark Rodgers to craft the new “DaVinci and Michaelangelo: Side by Side,” a “museum-theater” experience that combines the exhibits with a live, multimedia, tour-tested theatrical performance. If this novel melding of Italian Renaissance fare sounds shaky, consider that guided tours of the former incarnation were frequently sold out weeks in advance. Opens 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27 and runs through Jan. 3 at the Glitter Dome in RiNo, 3600 Wynkoop St. $40. .
