Police tape is seen around the crime scene at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs. (Helen H. Richardson, The Denver Post)
Re: “Disgraceful talk after Colorado Springs shootings,” Dec. 2 editorial.
Thank you for the editorial about Rep. JoAnn Windholz and her, yes, beyond shameful comments about the Planned Parenthood shootings. I think it is sad to watch how the likes of Windholz and certain other Republicans running for various offices, all the way up to Donald Trump, jump on the fear-mongering bandwagon. They are making fools of themselves to appeal to a certain element of the population to get their vote.

This letter was published in the Dec. 7 edition. The Denver Postap attack on Rep. JoAnn Windholz for merely stating her opinion was completely uncalled for. Simply because you didn’t agree with her position or the way it was presented doesn’t change the fact that no amount of hand-wringing or vitriolic behavior from the left is going to change the very nature of abortion. It will never be just another procedure.
