Letter-writer John Pickard’s comparison of fetal tissues being used for medical purposes to the Nazis’ experimentation is, in his words, deplorable.
For someone in this day and age to not realize the extreme differences between what the Nazis did and using fetal tissue for the advancement of cures for diseases such as Parkinson’s, Hodgkin’s, childhood onset diabetes, etc., is incomprehensible.
When a woman chooses to have an abortion, all tissue removed would normally be incinerated as medical waste and thus would be of help to no one, ever.
