Engagement celebration. Police pulled over a Jeep in the area of West 52nd Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard in Arvada on Nov. 21 after a report of a woman hanging out of the back window, screaming. The woman said she was not screaming for help, that she was just celebrating getting engaged. The driver was arrested for DUI.

Netflix would’ve been cheaper. A woman was arrested Nov. 22 after she was caught stealing five Blu-ray movies from King Soopers, 6350 Sheridan Blvd. The movies included “Chappie,” “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” and “Heaven Is for Real.” The discs were valued at $19.99 apiece.

Eighty-sixed. After causing a disturbance and refusing to leave Olde Town Tavern and Grill, 7355 Ralston Road, a man was arrested Nov. 12 for violating a restraining order that prohibits him from consuming alcohol or drugs. He was found with a grocery bag containing a 24-ounce beer and a tube containing 1.57 grams of marijuana.

Highly suspicious. While searching for a stolen vehicle in the area of Garrison Street and Gyda Drive on Nov. 19, an officer pulled over an older model Acura occupied by “numerous” people. Inside the car, the officer found copious amounts of drug paraphernalia, including a meth pipe, empty baggies, tourniquets and syringes. Three of the four occupants were arrested for possession.

What restraining order? A motorist was pulled over for weaving Nov. 21 in the area of West 58th Avenue and Kipling Parkway. The driver was arrested for violating a restraining order prohibiting contact with his ex-girlfriend — his passenger.
