Re: “Slow to rebound, Pueblo is redefining its economic image,” Dec. 6 Business story.
I appreciated the good reporting about Pueblo, a small city with huge potential. Not mentioned is the vibrant social sector of nonprofits and public agencies which reflect more of the heart and soul of this area. Pueblo offers one of the most committed and collaborative community services sector to be found anywhere.
An example is “One CommUnity Pueblo,” a collaboration of over 28 agencies that have adopted 15 outcomes and 60 indicators of success for children, youth and their families tracked by a community online dashboard.
Pueblo has much to be proud of as it cranks up its economic development efforts.
