When “Team Ninja Warrior” launches as a spinoff of “American Ninja Warrior” (pictured), Jan. 19 on the Esquire Network, Colorado will be well represented.

The rules are different on the cable version, but the physical tests are familiar. “For the first time in ninja history, the mother of all obstacle courses is now built for two.” In 24 squads of three, consisting of two males and one female, the athletes will compete against each other.

In the first six one-hour episodes, four teams will see their teammates individually race directly against the opposing team’s players through the course. Find more info online .
