NBA Hall of Famer Dolph Schayes died at the age of 87, .
Schayes’ son, and former Denver Nugget, Danny told Syracuse.com of his father’s death. Schayes was diagnosed with terminal cancer six months prior to his passing.
Schayes’ grandson Todd, is a sixth grade teacher and basketball coach at Kent Denver.
