Tuesday-Wednesday. Denver rock duo In the Whale always seems to be on the road, so while it’s fair to say its current national tour — which started last month and continues through February — doesn’t exactly end in Colorado, its Dec. 15-16 shows at Fort Collins’ Aggie Theatre and Denver’s Lost Lake will, respectively, offer a meaningful homecoming for the band and its rapidly growing fan base. Between playing with acts such as No Age and Toadies on this tour, In the Whale has been honing its (already strong) chops in front of capacity houses, making them a good bet for the Mile High City’s next-big-musical-thing.
