Unless you’re an intrepid multitasker, concert coverage is a two-person job. Writer or photographer: choose your own adventure. Needless to say, they aren’t created equal.
Photographers put up with a lot. There’s typically no plus-one at a show, and thanks to often overbearing artist management, they are precious few minutes they’re allowed to be there, let alone shoot.
