Police reponded to a shooting in northeast Denver Friday night.
The shooting happened at about 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Marion Street, said Mary McIver, Denver Police Department spokeswoman.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, McIver said.
Police did not have immediate information on a suspect, or a motive in the shooting.
