Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks at a town hall meeting in the Convocation Center on the University of South Carolina Aiken campus, Dec. 12, in Aiken, S.C. (Richard Shiro, The Associated Press)

Itap apparent that Donald Trump is a shameless opportunist willing to exploit recent horrific events to use them to his advantage by pandering to the fears of the public and inciting hatred. He has very specific prejudices. The United States will become an abysmal place to live should his views prevail. Rather than telling voters what he believes they want to hear, he should be putting forth ideas on foreign policy and immigration that are effective and realistic. Itap time his supporters throw off the spell he has cast and begin to think for themselves again. We must demand better from ourselves and from the likes of Trump.

I think I’m noticing a trend. First Donald Trump is going to get rid of the Mexicans, now itap the Muslims. There seems to be a recurring “cleansing” theme here. I guess I’ll have to wait and see if Irish Catholics make the list of approved ethnic and religious groups. Although when President Trump takes office, getting deported to somewhere halfway civilized might be the best case scenario.
