Shots were fired Monday when Denver police responded to a burglary in progress.
The incident happened in the 1100 block of Bellaire Street, according to a 4 p.m. Denver Police Department post on Twitter.
Police said there were no injuries and that the burglary suspect is in custody.
The gunfire was by a responding officer, police said on Twitter.
The incident is being investigated.
