Wildlife viewing tour. Join a naturalist for a bus tour through Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, 6550 Gateway Road, Commerce City, from 1-2:30 p.m. Bring binoculars or borrow a pair from the refuge to look for bald eagles, ferruginous hawks, bison, coyotes and deer. “The 1940s Radio Hour.” A different time is evoked in this show about a live broadcast of the Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade from the Hotel Astor’s Algonquin Room on December 21, 1942. Performances are at D.L. Parsons Theatre, 11801 Community Center Drive, Northglenn, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday this weekend and the next. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 for students and seniors. Call 303-450-8800 for tickets.

School’s Out Specials. Youth ages 11-15 are invited to participate in these trips during winter break: the Museum of Nature and Science on Monday, Family Sports Center on Tuesday and ice skating in Evergreen on Wednesday. All trips last from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and depart from the Northglenn Recreation Center, 11801 Community Center Drive, Northglenn. The cost is $35 for residents and $40 for non-residents.
