visual art: Jolt’s latest at Leon Gallery
Through jan 31. It’s hard for an artist known mainly for working in spray paint to get serious consideration in Denver’s fine art scene. We’re a little uptight about that sort of thing. But the creative force known as Jolt is an exception, probably because he’s serious about his work. He’s made paintings for such institutions as the Denver Botanic Gardens and Denver Performing Art Complex and for commercial clients such as Mountain Dew, Adidas and Phat Farm.
