Historic holiday party
Grand Lake’s Historical Holiday Celebration will take place in the festively decorated Victorian Kauffman House on Dec. 26, 6-9 p.m. This adults-only holiday party will feature live music, adult beverages and food. Family New Year’s
Beaver Creek’s fifth annual New Year’s Eve Family Bash is Dec. 31 in Avon. Village Fireworks will start at 6:45 p.m., then the Powder 8 Kitchen & Tap will have a DJ, dancing, prize drawings and balloon drops from 8 p.m.-1 a.m. General admission tickets are $50. Kids 5 and under are free.
Fire festival
The second annual Telluride Fire Festival runs Jan 15-17. Experience fire-art dancing, interactive fire art installations and free fire-themed workshops, including fire-spinning and welding. Some events are free; four-night All Access VIP Passes are $195. 970-708-1059 or
Estes Park winter fest
The Estes Park Winter Festival will be held Jan. 16-17, noon-5 p.m. The festival will feature wine and beer tasting, live music and kid’s activities in the Estes Park Events Complex. Weekend tasting passes are $55 (with glass) and $30 (no glass).
