Et tu, Chris Christie? Is even the big, tough, Jersey brawler so intimidated by the winds of Trump support and the desire for a good showing in New Hampshire that he feels compelled to discard the last shred of his once moderate position on immigration?
Well, he did. For those who came here illegally, Christie told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren in his typical emphatic style, “Never a path to citizenship.”
“And we can’t even begin to talk about legalization until we secure the border,” Christie added.
Eventually, someone is going to win the GOP nomination. Whether that person is electable by then, however, is very much in the air.
