Shutting down the 16th Street Mall shuttles on the weekends is a stupid idea. The purpose of businesses on the mall is to sell things. The shuttles make it easier to travel between stores. If I need to walk the whole way, I may as well stay in the suburbs and go to the Belmar shopping area.
