COLORADO SPRINGS — A report of two armed men in a southeast Colorado Springs basement led to a standoff Friday, but no arrests were made after eight people came out of the home, police said.

No one was hurt.

A caller at a home on the 1500 block of Planewood Drive, near Verde Drive and South Chelton Road, told police just after 10 a.m. that he was worried about two people with weapons inside, police said.

The house was cleared about 1:30 p.m., police said. No weapons were immediately found.

People are still trying to figure out what happened in the home.
