Rocky Mountain Human Services is a nonprofit that provides services to people with developmental disabilities in Denver. (RJ Sangosti, The Denver Post)
Thanks to The Denver Post for your great coverage of the debacle concerning the mismanagement of Rocky Mountain Human Services. If Stephen Block founded the organization in 1991, one can only imagine all of the fiscal abuses over the years. This would include overcharges, collection of state “matching funds,” Block’s salary, employee salaries and perks, plus unpaid debt, just to name a few.
Most infuriating is that this is a non-profit working with residents with developmental disabilities, our most vulnerable citizens.
It seems like what was reported is the tip of the iceberg. It is hoped The Post will continue to report on this unfolding story, especially when it comes to the district attorney’s office identifying possible criminal conduct in this hard-to-believe saga.
