One person was injured in an Aurora structure fire Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Fire officials rescued a victim by ladder during the residential fire at 1293 S. Troy St., the Aurora Police Department said.
The fire was under control as of 3:15 p.m., the fire department said.
The condition of the patient who was taken to the hospital was not immediately available.
A dog was also rescued from the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
