The president of Lifeloc Technologies, a Wheat Ridge-based firm that develops Breathalyzers and , is resigning at the end of the year, the company disclosed Tuesday.

Gurumurthi “Ravi” Ravishankar notified on Dec. 21 that he planned to resign from his executive and board positions effective Thursday, according to a filing made with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The resignation did not result from any disagreement with the company or its practices, according to the filing.

Ravishankar, who joined Lifeloc as vice president of new ventures and acquisitions in 2011, was promoted to president in February.

Officials for Lifeloc could not be immediately reached for comment.
