Mild temperatures are forecast for the Front Range Tuesday and Wednesday.
Temperatures will rise from a low of 23 degrees to about 46 on Tuesday and from 21 to 44 degrees on Wednesday, said Lisa Kriederman, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Boulder.
The next chance for snow in the Denver area and the Eastern Plains is on Thursday when a storm could drop around a half-inch of snow, Kriederman said.
The high temperature will drop to 34 on Thursday and 28 on Friday, before hovering around 22 degrees Saturday and Sunday.
Beginning on Wednesday, the mountains of Colorado will get snow through Friday.
The largest accumulation of snow is expected to be between 2 to 5 inches in the Rocky Mountain National Park.
One to 2 inches of snow will fall each day on Thursday and Friday, forecasters say.
