Tuesday. The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Concert & Humanitarian Awards event is one of the longest-standing traditions commemorating MLK Day in Denver. The Colorado Symphony Orchestra hosts the event at Boettcher Concert Hall, making it part classical performance, part community celebration and part a recollection of the civil rights hero’s bold efforts. It’s a touching tribute that brings Denver together, and admission is always free. 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
