Re: “Denver woman gets probation in fatal collision of drunken drivers,” Jan. 5 news story.

Your article said a Denver woman’s blood-alcohol level was 0.211 (the state limit is 0.08), she was driving more than twice the speed limit, and she cut across more than three lanes of traffic in 90 feet before killing a motorcyclist. She only received probation, had to pay a small fine, and was put on home detention.

This should give renewed hope to drunks all over Denver.
