Re: “Bill to repeal health care on slate,” Jan. 3 news story.

Are people as tired as I am of the same old agenda of tired opposition to the attempts to solve the problems we as a country face, with no responsible alternative to the legislation that has attempted to solve problems which have been around for years? Do we not have people without biased solutions — to benefit their financial backers — who we could elect as representatives in Congress? Do we not have problem-solvers in a country as learned and capable as we are?

While we will elect a new president in 2016, careful thought needs to be made on who we have in Congress. I believe we need radical change to get back to solving our problems. We can’t afford to continue with our Congress as exists based on its present agenda.
