Lauren Quintana has signed to play softball at Bethany College.
A pitcher-outfielder, Northglenn’s Quintana was a four-year starter. As a pitcher in 2015, she was 11-5 record with a 3.57 earned-run average and 96 strikeouts. She also batted .400 with seven doubles, three home runs and 22 RBIs.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lauren Quintana to Bethany College and Swedes softball!” head coach Laura Moreno said. “Lauren had a very good senior high school season, and we know she will work hard to build on that. We were very pleased with Lauren’s work ethic … we feel she has the tools to be successful at this level because of that. She has good speed and movement in the circle, and we look forward to working with her throughout her time as a Swede.”
