CHICAGO — A statewide coalition plans to launch a to press Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner’s administration to expand the medical marijuana pilot program to more patients.

An expert panel in October recommended adding eight medical conditions to the marijuana treatment list. The Illinois Department of Public Health is expected to rule on the recommendations by the first of February.

The eight conditions are autism, irritable bowel syndrome, osteoarthritis, PTSD and four pain syndromes.
