1 Reward offered for stolen signs. Thieves snatched two heavy, bronze signs that announced the entrance to Centennial’s Palos Verdes subdivision sometime between Jan. 5 and 7, marking the second time the signs have been stolen in four months. The signs were bolted to landscaping boulders in the 6500 block of East Caley Avenue and had just been replaced followed a theft in September. The civic association is offering a $350 reward in the case. Call 720-874-8477 with tips.

2 Sunday snatchers. Officers responded to reports of a burglary in progress in the 400 block of West Caley Drive, Littleton, just before midday Dec. 20. A neighbor across the street said he saw three men with bandanas over their faces back a car into the driveway and exit the house with boxes and a TV. The suspects left before police arrived, but the house was ransacked throughout. The residents were at church.

3 Man punched for mean faces. Two security staff members at Littleton Adventist Hospital,7700 S. Broadway, Littleton, were escorting a patient to the bathroom Dec. 21 when she abruptly punched one of them in the face. When police cited her for harassment, the suspect said she did it because the victim was “making mean faces at me.”

4 Christmas smash and grab. The manager of Toast,2700 W. Bowles Ave., Littleton, came to work Dec. 26 to find someone had burglarized the restaurant on Christmas Day. The suspect(s) used a large rock to smash part of the front window, pried open the cash register and took a small amount of cash.
