Grand opening at Legacy Ridge shows stunning patio ranch models in a Westminster setting with walkouts, open space, and views

Getting your player ready...

Today in Westminster’s Legacy Ridge you can tour a brand new community featuring two exceptional ranch patio home designs by CalAtlantic Homes, at a time when you can still pick out a choice site to go with one of these plans – including ones with day-lit walkout or garden level basement potential, backing to dedicated open space, with great views of the Indian Peaks that Legacy Ridge has, as part of the package.

And you don’t have forever to do that: Though these models have been completed for only a few weeks, CalAtlantic already has 12 home sales of this new collection, with what housing experts are already anticipating to be a hot market slated to arrive this spring.

“People tell us they just love this location; it’s where they want to be,” says CalAtlantic Homes Colorado Division President Dan Nickless. Numbers of those buyers who already signed on have come out of larger homes around Legacy Ridge’s golf course — wanting to ‘right-size’ while keeping the trails, golf, and master-planned amenities of Legacy Ridge, as well as their prime access both to downtown Denver and Boulder. Others, Nickless adds, are coming in from out of state – wanting to be close to Colorado kids and grandkids.

On the north side of CalAtlantic’s wedge-shaped parcel is Westminster’s Big Dry Creek open space crossed by large span of trail; and on the south is a second channel of open space that CalAtlantic has set aside to set the enclave off from its larger 4000 Series homes (you can tour those models as well). Many sites have exceptional depth to allow for extended outdoor living area in decks and patios.

Meanwhile, the prices on these ranch patio homes, from the low $400s, are going to look attractive to anybody that has shopped the northwest U.S. 36 corridor, looking for a new ranch. Expect to see highly differentiated interiors with lots of character and detailing – including the Barcelona model, with a master suite positioned to show off one of these Legacy Ridge views, with a private entrance to a main-level laundry room via its attractive bath and dressing area.

There’s another attractive option to explore, as well. One model shows a full finish for its day-lit walkout level – a huge expansion of the living area into added recreation/entertaining space, plus a third/guest bedroom and bath. According to Nickless, more than half of the buyers who are signing on are taking advantage of that option.

You’ll also see the pool and tennis courts already in place in Legacy Ridge – just a start of Westminster’s amenities that come with this lifestyle, including state-of-the-art City Park Rec Center just a half mile south at Sheridan and 104th, linked by trails to Legacy Ridge and Hyland Hills golf courses and Christopher Fields ballpark complex. To reach the models, take the 36 Turnpike north from Denver or south from Boulder to the Sheridan exit, head north on Sheridan two miles to W. 107th Drive, and turn east a block to Yates, then north three blocks.

Yates Dr., Westminster; take U.S. 36 north from Denver or south from Boulder to Sheridan exit, north on Sheridan 2 mi., past 104th Ave. to W. 107th Dr., east 1 block to Yates
