Without the least amount of hyperbole, the rest of the 2016 festival season can take a seat.
Primavera Sound has it on lock. And by lock, we mean the dream team of lineups that we’ve witnessed. has come out of hibernation to join the likes of , Sigur Rós, Brian Wilson, PJ Harvey, the Last Shadow Puppets, Tame Impala and — drumroll, here — Radiohead, to name just a few of the festival’s acts. Somewhere lost along the list is the über talented French duo, Air.

It is important to note that Primavaera Sound is the first of a handful of Radiohead dates that are planned for 2016. (They’re also playing Portugal’s festival and Switzerland’s .) Thom Yorke and company are working on their follow-up to 2011’s “King of Limbs,” as hinted at by an LLC members formed as well as a quote from Radiohead instrumentalist Johnny Greenwood. This cluster of tour dates would suggest their won’t be far off now.
