Is Super Bowl 50 going to be Peyton Manning’s final game in the NFL?

As orange-and-blue confetti rained down after the in the AFC championship game last Sunday, NFL Network cameras caught Manning embracing Patriots coach Bill Belichick. The 39-year-old quarterback gave a sort of farewell message to the coach at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

“Hey listen, this might be my last rodeo, so it sure has been a pleasure,” Manning said to Belichick after the Broncos’ 20-18 AFC championship win on Sunday.

Belichick answered: “You’re a great competitor.”

New England had a better overall record against Manning-led teams, but the quarterback was 3-1 in four matchups against the Patriots in the AFC championship game.
