
Westwood College has decided to close its schools, including the two in Denver, by the end of March.

On Thursday the school confirmed it will close, citing problems with declining enrollments “due to market shifts and changes in the regulatory environment.”
Students, including 300 in Denver, will be offered the opportunity to transfer to other schools where Westwood created partnerships to help students continue their education.
“Westwood will have graduated an additional 1,000 students in the December 2015 and January 2016 terms, and 2,500 students will complete their degrees with one of the partner schools,” the school said in a prepared statement.

The settlement included a provision to keep the school under monitoring for three years.
