• The Pluto New Horizons Exploration Team will be honored with the 2016 John L. “Jack” Swigert Jr. Award for Space Exploration from the Space Foundation. The award will be presented in April at the 32nd Space Symposium in Colorado Springs.

• Air medical transportation company Air Methods Corporation has acquired Tri-State Care Flight.

Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors announced the sale of 3510 Brighton Blvd. and 3509 Wynkoop St. in Denver. The property, which consists of a 9,100-square-foot building and a 25,000-square-foot lot sold for $2.5 million.

Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors announced its sales and lease volume at 39 percent over the previous year’s $366 million record. In 2015, Pinnacle announced its 39 brokers closed 356 deals valued at $508.6 million.

The Monfort Family Foundation has pledged $4.2 million to the University of Northern Colorado’s Kenneth W. Monfort College of Business.

Brues Alehouse — a brewery, restaurant and music venue in Pueblo — has opened in the Old Police Building on the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk.

• The nonprofit Ten Thousand Villages Denver is moving in early February to 275 Clayton St. in Cherry Creek.

• Longmont’s Village at the Peaks announced four new businesses coming to the development: Ozo Coffee Company, Mathnasium, The Sleep Number and Brain Balance Achievement Center will open in early 2016.

• Commercial real estate investment firm Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of a fully-occupied, two-tenant office space at 1510 Qauil Lake Loop in Colorado Springs. The property sold for $1,775,000.

Apsen Skiing Company-owned Elk Camp Restaurant on Snowmass Mountain recently became the company’s fifth building to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Crazy Mountain Brewing Company in Edwards will open a beer importing company in the United Kingdom with distribution beginning in February. The deal will allow it to grow within European markets.
