Denver police officers arrested a 32-year-old man Monday afternoon on a warrant for possession of a weapon by a felon, authorities say.
Robert Pride was arrested near 39th Avenue and Harrison Street, said Raquel Lopez, Denver police spokeswoman.
Pride was taken to Denver Health Medical Center for treatment of a possible drug overdose, Lopez said.
He had prior convictions for aggravated assault, felony menacing, drug possession, escape, eluding and destruction of property.
