A nine-vehicle accident in Parker during the evening rush hour Monday tied up traffic and injured three people.
The traffic collisions happened about 5 p.m. on northbound South Parker Road near Cottonwood Drive, just north of E-470, according to the Parker Police Department.
The incident involved nine vehicles, including two rollovers, police said.
Three people with minor to moderate injuries were taken to a hospital, said a South Metro Fire Rescue Authority spokeswoman.
Parker Road was closed in both directions until about 7 p.m., and the city went on accident alert because of adverse road conditions related to snow about 5:45 p.m., according to a police department Twitter posts.
