Panthers’ cornerback Josh Norman is continuing to earn his reputation as one of the best trash talkers in the game. He was asked during Thursday’s Panthers media availability to respond to comments made by Broncos’ receiver Emmanuel Sanders Wednesday that Norman talked his way into the media’s attention.

“I haven’t heard much about him so obviously he should go practice some more,” Norman said of Sanders in response.

Norman saw his peak attention this season when he got in a game-long scuffle with Giants’ wide receiver Odell Beckham filled with verbal and physical jabs before, during and after the play.

The Panthers’ all-pro cornerback typically sticks the opposing team’s No. 1 receiver so Norman will likely see Broncos wide out Demaryius Thomas Sunday.

I ve seen him on film talking,” Thomas said Tuesday. “But if he does, it s not going to bother me. I m going to be ready for it.

Sanders is known in Denver for his tenacity, full effort and fight despite being a 5-foot-10 receiver. He isn’t about to back down to any challenge, especially if he faces off against Norman on Sunday.

“The thing is I am a No. 2 wide receiver so to speak over here, we got Demaryius Thomas but still I am out here battling,” Sanders said. “I am still out here trying to prove that I am one of the best wide receivers.
