ASPEN — A skier who collided with a tree Wednesday on Aspen Mountain was taken to Aspen Valley Hospital with unknown injuries, sources said.
The call for an ambulance was made to the Pitkin County Dispatch Center at 12:20 p.m., a dispatcher said.
Jeff Hanle, spokesman for Aspen Skiing Co., said initial information indicated the injuries were not life-threatening. He had no other information to release late Wednesday afternoon.
