1 Man pees in alley, assaults staff. On Jan. 30, a man was taken into custody by Denver police after he was observed peeing in an alley and blocking staff from throwing out trash at Lodo’s Bar and Grill, 1946 Market St. The suspect spit on a Dumpster and punched staff when they asked him to leave. He was subdued by several people until police arrived.

2 Wendy’s staff fights, car vandalized. A woman called police on Jan. 30 after she was involved in an altercation with another employee at Wendy’s, 857 E. Colfax Ave. The victim told police the suspect pushed her and spit in her face. When she later went to her car, its windshield and two side mirrors had been broken.

3 Woman skips out on bill. On Jan. 27, an employee at Denny’s, 900 W. Alameda Ave., called police after a woman left without paying a $50 tab. The employee said the woman tried to pay with a credit card that was declined. She then left the restaurant and got into a car. The employee tracked the woman down and gave the opportunity to pay with another card, but she refused.

4 Suspect ruins mattress. Police responded to an unruly party on Jan. 28 at Denver Cares, 1155 Cherokee St. The suspect was brought there and became violent with staff. He was put into a holding room and began kicking the door and chewing on a mattress, ripping it apart,

5 Fight over football. On Jan. 29, two men got into a fight with another group over football teams near the intersection of 20th Street and Chestnut Place. One of the suspects took the victim’s cellphone and walked away.
