Re: Special agents seize 361 fake NFL merchandise items at Broncos parade, Feb. 12 news story.

According to your article, Homeland Security agents seized more than 350 counterfeit NFL-related merchandise items at Tuesday s Broncos parade and rally. The article implies that the agents were completing quality-control efforts: Counterfeits are inferior quality, said David A. Thompson, special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations. They steal American jobs, and they support criminal organizations.

My wife purchased a licensed championship T-shirt and hooded sweatshirt for me. One was made in Pakistan and the other was made in Honduras. Both, especially the hoodie, appear to be made from thin, poor-quality material. Let s be honest, the NFL is protecting its franchise, which it is entitled to do, not performing community services.
