A driver charged with his 11th DUI remains in a Denver jail and his case was bound over Wednesday into Denver District Court.
Ramon Medrano-Corral, 54, is charged with four counts of vehicular assault, two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of DUI fourth or subsequent offense.
The charges allege that on the night of Dec. 25, 2015, he was driving drunk when he crashed head-on into another car in northwest Denver, according to a Denver District Attorney’s Office media release.
Two people were seriously injured in the crash.
Medrano-Corral has 10 prior DUI arrests dating back more than two decades, prosecutors said.
Bond for Medrano-Corral has been set at $50,000. His next scheduled court appearance is Feb. 29 in Denver District Court.
