Art of Chocolate

Cañon City’s Queen Anne restaurant, tea house and bakery will host the Art of Chocolate event at 2 p.m. Feb. 20. Participants will join Comfort Chef Linda Ballard at Queen Anne to discover new ways to use chocolate in culinary creations. St. Patrick’s festivities

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Colorado Springs on March 11-12. On Friday, a free Sports Expo will begin at noon at the Pikes Peak Center. Saturday morning events include a 50K bike ride at 8:30 a.m., a 5K run at 10 a.m., a Leprechaun Fun Run for kids at 11 a.m. Festivities conclude with the 32nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Colorado Springs beginning at noon. 719-635-8803 or csstpats.com

Colorado Crafted Festival

Crested Butte Mountain Resort will host a craft tasting event, the Colorado Crafted Festival, from 2 to 6 p.m. March 5. Visitors can enjoy drinks from Colorado breweries and distilleries along with local fare while enjoying live music and views of the Elk Mountains. Tickets include entry to the event and seven tasting tickets. $25 in advance, $30 at the door if available.

Freestyle skiing championships

The U.S. Freestyle Championships will be from March 18 to 20 in Steamboat Springs. Top freestyle skiers in the country will compete in mogul, aerial and dual mogul events on Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs. freestyle.usskiteam.com/events/us-freestyle-championships
