AURORA — Officials with the city of Aurora and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport have confirmed that the Rocky Mountain Airshows scheduled for each location in 2016 have been canceled.
“Rocky Mountain Aviation defaulted on their agreement,” according to Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport.
The city of Aurora did not say why its air show was canceled, but confirmed it was canceled.
at the Aurora Reservoir became a mess when traffic jammed and many ticket holders couldn’t get to the show. Organizers had to issue refunds to hundreds of people.
