Megadeth last came to Denver in February, when they played a heartening set at the Fillmore Auditorium. From writer/photgrapher Alan Cox’s of the night:

The strategic setlist was full of heavy favorites drawn from eight different records in the band’s history—all polished and with little brake pumping. The closest thing to a melodic break from the heavy set was “A Tout Le Monde,” a pounding tune flanked by a lighter intro and outro. Mustaine expressed gratitude for Denver being a long-time supporter of Megadeth, and gave the Mile High City the band’s first-ever live rendition of “The Threat Is Real.”
